Mr. Thomas has practiced personal injury law as an attorney for over a decade and has handled hundreds of personal injury cases. He has recovered millions of dollars from insurance companies for injured victims. Mr. Thomas practices in both Florida state courts and Federal court for the Middle District.
Mr. Thomas is a California native who converted to the Florida sunshine when he met his wife at Church while in law school. Mr. Thomas was a child prodigy, and graduated from high school at the age of 14. He entered college at 15, and earned a degree in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee.
As a result of serving a two year mission for his Church in Ecuador, Mr. Thomas is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Mr. Thomas graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law, with a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, and served on the Board of Florida Coastal Law Review. Mr. Thomas received numerous awards and certificates during law school, including a certificate for interning for the Florida Supreme Court, Deans Scholar List, and numerous book awards for the highest grades. He graduated as Salutatorian of his class.
Mr. Thomas’s ideas on international law, particularly space law, have been published by Brigham Young University and the Florida Coastal Law Review. Both publications have been widely read, commented and influential in the intellectual development of space law.
Mr. Thomas is married and has three children. He is active in the rights of the speech and hearing impaired and believes that every child, regardless of economic circumstances, deserves proper therapy, and accommodations in the school system.
Mr. Thomas enjoys collecting 19th century plein air art, gardening, and reading religious and philosophical books. He is also very active in his local church and community.
